Doctor's Orders

Where Things Stand 😕 😏

TL;DR

  1. I’m healthy!! Jesus, thank you!

  2. “Is God Good?”, our first public event, is now Sunday 10/26/25 @ 5p and we’d love to see you there! Click here for more!

Doctor Said

1. “I’m not sure about this..”
2. How it went 🏃🏾‍♂️‍➡️

  • August 14 - Cardiac MRI

  • August 25 - Talked through MRI results and blood work with my doctor and we discovered the following:

    (1) Still inflammation in the ❤️ but significantly reduced

    (2) I continued to feel poorly despite the reduced inflammation because I was allergic to the meds and that is why when I stopped the meds I felt way better 🫠.

    (3) He prescribed that I jog for 30-60 minutes or play light 5-on-5 basketball, but no 1-on-1 😬 and if pain persists for more than 30 minutes after exercise, go to the ER.

  • September 7 (yesterday) - Jogged 2.9 miles, felt pain in my heart for the first 2 minutes - doc said I might - then it went away and I proceeded to have the normal pain that one has when running and out of shape 🤣 . Jesus, we thank you for normal pain. So serious.

The stakes were high here, guys. Nendir (my dear wife) doesn’t pick up her phone - it’s forever on silent smh 😆 - so it was either I make it back home or 911 hears my voice. Simple as that.

Actual footage of Nen with her phone 🤣

Now, I don’t know if you caught it, but there was a 13 day gap - let’s call it 2 weeks - between my doc prescribing a jog test and me doing the jog test.

Why did I wait 2 weeks to find out?

Full Transparency: There was a part of me that was content with the improved health that I already had and I didn’t want to know if there was an underlying problem.

It doesn’t make sense right? At some point, I’m going to want to play basketball again or have to chase my kids for a distance (they are getting faster I tell you!) and it would be much better to know the state of my health on my terms, but I was avoidant.

Bad news would mean pushing back launch again, uncertainty again, I’d have to take injections, more pain, etc…

At root, I was slow to embrace reality because I didn’t know if I’d believe in God’s love there.

Say my heart was still in bad shape, does a good God live in that world? He does. He does.

For it is not the strength of our love that keeps us, but the strength of His love that keeps us after Him.

That’s why He’s the Great Physician. He can heal mind, body and soul.

His methods are strange to us, because His healing - while something we’d love to experience - is completely outside of a mere human’s ability to perform.

Here’s a question, what aspect of your life are you slow to trust God’s goodness in?

Here’s some more about the goodness of God 👇️.

October 26th @ 5p

👆️ That’s an ad that will run on YouTube - if you don’t have that Premium haha! - as an unskippable ad, since it is 15 seconds and under.

These ads will run in a concentrated area in Fairfield County as we’d love to get the attention of those who could actually make the event.

The IsGodGood.org link is under-construction 👷 for the start of promo in late September.

What do you think?

We had some fun making this ad and also got kicked out by MTA. Promise you we thought it was legal!

Us saying buh bye on our getaway train haha!

More to share on all this but my body is beat 😅. So, the most important part 👇️

Thank You

For all the kind texts, emails, calls, the fasting and prayer, the second opinions, etc.. thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.

I’m incredibly grateful for you and am excited to show you my gratitude in how we work for Jesus here.

Grateful for you,

Dave
